Chapter 484

The live chat exploded with shocked reactions.

"Wait... Olivia's supposed savior is connected to Margaret? Ugh, they truly deserve each other."

"Are you serious? Liam wasn't even interested in Margaret. She threw herself at him first."

"This is absolutely hilarious. Margaret just got publicly humiliated."

Only then did Liam turn to face Margaret, his smirk icy and deliberate. "The sole reason I tolerated your presence was for your assistance in locating someone. But your constant flirtation disgusts me. I was the one who dismissed you, so if you want to start trouble, aim it at me. Why involve Olivia?"

Margaret's face crumpled with heartbreak, tears glistening in her eyes. She inhaled sharply before forcing out, "Fine. This is all my fault. But everyone witnessed her seducing my fan and lying about meeting a client today. How could she not recognize her own client? And considering Sinclair Enterprises' current situation, who in their right mind would order jewelry from—"

Her accusations redirected the crowd's attention to Olivia, her gaze sharp as knives. Liam opened his mouth to respond, but Olivia silenced him with a raised hand, her stare glacial. At that moment, the restaurant manager arrived promptly, flanked by a squad of security personnel.

Margaret gestured dramatically, jabbing a finger toward Olivia with venom in her voice. "She's causing a disturbance. Remove her immediately."

To Margaret's shock, the manager ignored her completely, walking past with measured steps. He stopped before Olivia and bowed deeply. "Miss Sinclair, my sincerest apologies for this unpleasantness. Where is the instigator? Rest assured, we'll handle this matter at once."

Margaret's jaw dropped. She stood frozen, her accusing finger still extended toward Olivia. The live chat erupted into frenzied debate.

"So Olivia booked the private room? How? Wasn't it supposed to be Margaret?"

"Stop defending Margaret already. The VIP rooms here require membership for reservations."

Reading these comments, Margaret's face flushed crimson. She yanked out her membership card and shoved it at the manager. "Look carefully! I'm a member! This woman just arrived in Newport recently and hasn't spent a dime here. How could she possibly qualify?"

Though Margaret hadn't booked this specific room, she refused to believe Olivia could have. She'd deny it even if evidence proved otherwise. Besides, Olivia's alleged client hadn't shown up. Perhaps this was all an elaborate bluff.

The manager regarded Margaret with open disdain. "Miss, your membership tier doesn't permit booking this VIP suite. You've clearly misunderstood. Please refrain from causing further disruptions."

Margaret's face burned with humiliation. The manager turned back to Olivia, his demeanor reverent. "While Miss Sinclair may not have made purchases here, she does hold our highest-tier membership, which she used to reserve this room."

Liam stepped forward, closing the distance to where Margaret stood defeated. His contemptuous gaze raked over her. "Didn't you claim her client meeting was fabricated? That no one would buy from Sinclair Enterprises?"

"Let me clarify. I'm the client she's meeting, and I intend to make the purchase. Miss Sinclair, you orchestrated this entire spectacle to damage Olivia's reputation. Should Olivia choose, she could file charges against you right now."
