Chapter 464

Olivia snatched the iPad from Isabelle's hands without a word, her eyes scanning the screen intently. A wave of relief washed over her when she realized it wasn't a formal TV interview, but rather a covert live stream captured from a hidden camera angle.

Someone had positioned themselves at the study entrance, secretly filming Liam. The live chat was exploding with excitement.

"Good heavens! He's so tall and commanding. That mask is hiding what must be a gorgeous face."

"Those are bespoke Savile Row suits he's wearing. Each button probably costs more than my monthly rent."

"The way he carries himself - pure aristocracy."

The more Olivia read, the more confused she became. It was undoubtedly Liam. But how could anyone possibly be broadcasting live from his private office?

Her brow furrowed as she continued watching. Then a familiar name appeared in the comments.

"Margaret, don't be nervous! Go talk to him. This is your chance to remove that mask. He rescued you from the roadside - he must fancy you."

"I bet he was smitten the moment he laid eyes on Margaret."

Olivia blinked rapidly, wondering if she'd read correctly. Liam had fallen for Margaret at first sight?

Soon, Margaret's trembling voice came through. "Please stop teasing. I'm just going in for a friendly chat. We're merely acquaintances."

Olivia was completely baffled about how Margaret and Liam knew each other. But a quick scroll through the comments provided the missing pieces - apparently Liam had rescued Margaret. Olivia sensed this situation was far more complicated than it appeared.

At that moment, Liam shifted in his chair, lifting his head. Though the mask obscured his features, his piercing gaze was cold enough to freeze blood. Margaret visibly trembled, her hands shaking uncontrollably. The oblivious viewers continued their playful banter.

"Margaret, he's noticed you! Go say hello."

"This is so romantic! He's probably waiting for you to make the first move."

Olivia found the comments laughable. She typed a warning: "He looks furious. If you stay, you're risking his wrath - and trust me, you don't want that."

Immediately, Margaret's devoted followers attacked Olivia with vicious insults.

Faced with the barrage of abuse, Olivia merely scoffed. She had no interest in engaging with such blind devotion and returned her attention to the unfolding drama.

By now, Liam had risen from his desk. He began advancing toward Margaret with slow, deliberate steps.

Margaret hadn't shown fear on the live stream yet, but she responded to Olivia's warning. "To whoever wrote that comment, I don't know what your agenda is. I understand Liam better than anyone, so please stop making these malicious assumptions." Her voice quivered as she spoke.
