Chapter 366

Olivia Sinclair looked just as bewildered. "Not yet. I merely stepped outside to investigate. Apparently, some woman has started broadcasting live, ranting about a shameless homewrecker who seduced her fiancé. And guess what? This so-called mistress is supposedly attending today's auction."

Amelia Dawson gasped. "A mistress scandal at our auction house? Is this woman deliberately trying to cause a scene?"

Amelia shook her head. "I'm not certain. The stream is still ongoing. Should I have security remove them? By the way, you'll recognize the streamer - Evelyn Hartley, Sebastian Whitmore's fiancée. The same one who commandeered the VIP suite without reservation last time. I wasn't sure how to handle this without interrupting your document review earlier."

Olivia hesitated, biting back her initial response. So it was Sebastian's troublesome fiancée again. Any mishandling could be perceived as mistreating an employee's family.

"Sebastian took personal leave today, correct? Summon him immediately. This is his domestic issue to resolve. He gets thirty minutes. If unresolved, eject his fiancée immediately. And Sebastian will answer for this disruption. My auction house isn't some soap opera set."

Amelia nodded sharply. "Understood."

As Amelia reached for the door handle, it burst open. Evelyn Hartley stormed in flanked by her butler and an entourage of bodyguards, trailed by gawking spectators.

Evelyn immediately began snapping photos with her phone before focusing the camera on Olivia's obscured figure behind the privacy screen. Neither woman could see the other's face clearly.

Evelyn sneered. "Too ashamed to show your face, homewrecker? Weren't you proud enough stealing my fiancé? Don't you know Sebastian Whitmore belongs to me?"

Olivia needed a moment to process the absurd accusation. Since when had she become some scheming mistress? Sebastian was merely her subordinate. What nonsense was this?

Evelyn continued her tirade. "Come out now, kneel, and beg my forgiveness! Swear never to approach Sebastian again, and I might let this slide!"

Olivia's voice turned arctic. "Miss Hartley, you're gravely mistaken about my relationship with your fiancé."

Evelyn exploded. "You're on first-name basis with him! He reserved our best suite for you, bought you gifts! Stop pretending! Or are you actually proud of stealing another woman's man?"

Olivia's brow furrowed at the outrageous claims.

The growing crowd, riled up by Evelyn, began jeering.

"Miss Hartley, don't hold back! Teach that homewrecker a lesson!"

"I can't stand women who prey on taken men! Let's see this tramp's face!"

"Still playing innocent! Probably waiting for Sebastian to rescue her like some damsel!"

Amelia's expression darkened with fury. "Enough!" she roared.
